Sweet Links Sold Out - $2,255.99 EARNED So Far!

Tuesday Earnings Screenshot

Wow… Last couple of days, have been crazy! Basically, every time I checked my email there was money! That was really nice for a change. I’ve been busy answering questions and filling Sweet Link orders as well as taking sponsor payments. Sweet Links sold out earlier today with still more orders in the pipeline!

As much as I didn’t want to turn away money I decided to enforce my promise to keep the Sweet Links to 10 positions at this point. This way all the advertisers gets full value. If you didn’t grab your Sweet Link in time, email me to get on a waiting list. It’s well worth the money.

American Foreclosure Specialists is my first official Recommended (Premium) sponsor. They offer to avoid or stop foreclosure by working with your bank on your behalf. Free consultation is available.

I talked at length with the owner of the company and feel American Foreclosure Specialists provide good value to people in foreclosure and treat people right. I will be writing a full review of American Freedom Foreclosure services soon. A free review and ongoing mention in my post are the bonuses I’m currently offering to Premium advertisers.

I still have 4 Premium spots available.

For a limited time you have a choice to pay $125/week plus $25 placement fee. This way you can try it out for a week and cancel anytime. I can’t promise a free review on weekly payments but I will at least mention you on in one of the posts.

The only requirement is I need to feel good about your product or services to be able to recommend it to people in foreclosure (or people looking to buy foreclosures). It also needs to be on topic of foreclosure or related: real estate, real estate investing, short sales, foreclosure help, bankruptcy, credit repair, debt management, etc.

$250 Reviews

As a separate product I offer to write a full post reviewing your product, services or website/blog for a one-time payment of $250. That can be used with or without purchasing ongoing advertising. (Remember, for a limited time Premium Sponsors get a free review).

You can also appear on the next Foreclosure Friday show for $250.

More Testimonials and Shameless Plugs:

Here is another testimonial from one of my Sweet Link advertisers: (oops I screwed up the quote last time, lets try it again)

“I will never buy any product advertised on this site. I will go out of my way to buy from competitors. I resent the fact you support this…person. ”

As one of Casey’s advertisers let me say that this kind of threat is completely unconvincing, and I actually am quite amused that somebody would think a potential advertiser like myself would be dissuaded by this.

By way of explanation, let me first say that I don’t intend on picking up a single customer from this site. Yes, you read that right: I don’t think my advertising dollars will lead to one single customer from IAFF.com. Let’s face it, precious few IAFF readers are in the market to rent a van for an extended tour.
But what I do think I will get is far more valuable: search engine optimization. Moving up even a couple spots in Google rankings is potentially worth far more to me then what I am paying for the link. So, seen strictly through the prism of a business decision, the “sweet link” strikes me as a no brainer, as I cannot think of another blog with wider exposure, where I can purchase such a prominent link for so little money.

And just to backup what QuickEMoney said: I have had a link for 24 hours now, and I already have 125 hits. For me, that’s a total bonus. I don’t care if I get zero hits. But 125 hits? What does that work out to, 3000+ hits a month, for $100? Anybody that knows anything about ad rates knows that’s a bargain no matter how you look at it. But with the occasional bits of mainstream exposure that Casey gets, I’m sure there will be times where I will get even more hits then that. And unlike AdWords, I’m not paying on a per click basis, so those occasional mainstream write ups are a total bonus.

But to answer your basic premise: do I care if you boycott my services? Well ideally you wouldn’t, but earning your business wasn’t the point of advertising here anyways. What I’m really interested in is SEO, and unless you can convince people to stop visiting this site (good luck!) there isn’t much you can do to diminish the value of that.

Regards,

Sharky Laguana
bandago.com

That came from Sharky, the holder of the following Sweet Links:

#3. Bandago Van Rentals - Sweettm Vans
#4. MixPal - sell your music online

Also…

If you’re wondering, what’s with these Sweet Links and why are they bold:

#8. Casey’s Stress Tolerance is High - What’s Your Top Personality Trait?

#9. Casey’s IQ is 131 - What’s Your IQ?

In exchange for a higher link payment of $150/month for each, the people at FunEducation.com asked me to take an IQ test and a Personality Test so that they can use the results as part of the link. I happily agreed and offered to bold the links since they bought 2 and are paying $50 more per month per link.

(If you want yours bolded, let me know and I’ll see what I can do…)

One of the IQ test questions

Anyway, I actually scored higher on the IQ test than I thought. I’ve never taken one before so it was fun. There were only 43 questions but they were fairly hard. It took me about an hour and 15 minutes plus I used a calculator and scratch paper. At IQ of 131 it put me in the “gifted” category. Pretty cool! Personality test was fun too.

Hey…

Who said I wouldn’t plug my Sweet Link sponsors occasionally? Just trying to provide great value. That’s all.

Anyway… that’s enough for the day. I feel like I did some good work and earned the money well.

UPDATE: more plugs!

Sorry, I was just reading over the comments from last post. The comments that my nice moderator moderated for me. I couldn’t help but grab a couple of more comments and use them to plug my Sweet Link holders.

To all the Casey haterz out there,

Having put my website on Casey’s site was an outstanding idea. Traffic is not only up with hits on the site but actually the mp3 play is up.

I’ve also received some nice emails…and some not so nice. Most of them were nice and I hope to be in touch with all of you.

Many of the ‘not so’nice ones said,’ I will not patronize your website any more because of your support of a deceitful and fraudalent person like Casey Serin.’

Oh, really, so you would just patronize Casey’s site ?

Give me a break, who has reached the moral high ground?

In Cali, we call you people ‘rubber neckers’, no where to go but sit there and gawk.

There’s actually a blog called “what Casey means to say.” You mean to say that someone spends their time critiquing this website because…(?!?)… they desparately need a girlfriend, perhaps? This guy over there uses the blogspot template and then reviews other websites. What a moron.

The one thing I can say is that I think housing is in a downward trend for sometime to come and I actually wrote about that online several years ago and commented on it on Monster Radio (I have been the book reviewer on this radio program for a couple of years, my pal the Big Schwag, former voice of Monster Garage, gave me the gig).

So, if I were Casey, I would have used a little moderation in the past and, even he admits, mistakes were made. Also, I would have tried to get a fulltime job even with the blogging….but he is not me and I am not him.

However, even the biggest cynic would have to admit- what he has done with this website and the publicity he has garnered- was proof of his genius.

Being a hater, one only needs be cerebrally challenged.

I would like to interview Casey soon and see where all this is headed.

Thanks Bruce! Looking forward to have you interview me on your show.

And here is one from Julie, Sweet Link holder #10 (Home-Flip - Free Real Estate Ads). By the way, though skeptical at first, Julie of Home Flip decided to give Sweet Link a try. She was competing with two other potential advertisers and grabbed the last Sweet Link by sending in her payment first!

You know… I have been following this blog since the beginning, even though I may not post all of the time I do read it atleast once a week. I have come to the conclusion that the haterz are jealous!!

Why do you insist on putting Casey down? Yeah his RE business Flopped big time. I am sure that everyone here has made a huge financial mistake that they are embarrassed about.

Of Course, no one knows about it, except immediate family… Did they put you down when you were at the lowest point in your life?

My husband and I were dupped out of 10K by a reputible Contractor 6 months ago!! Because of this we have suffered financial losses that we would never even think of. We even had to foreclose on one of our rental homes. And couldn’t pay the taxes and homeowners insurnace that were due last month.

There are many things that happen in life… FOR A REASON!!

Look at Donald Trump! He filed Bankruptcy in the 80’s Look at hime now!!

    Casey,

Now that you have made over $2000 in your first week, do yourself a favor and put $2000 on the table and earn another $1000 next week. Dont weasel out here and say I have two weeks covered.

How you make money is hitting it week after week after week …. Get another $1000 next week and stay going that strong. If you are short one month, maybe you can be forgiven, but always strive for MORE MORE MORE …

Keep going and let us know how those web jobs are going.

OK, now you’re overdoing it a bit. Real men earn money and don’t have to pat themselves on the back in order to rationalize their gains, they just GIT’R'DONE, so to speak. Get it? Anyway, congratulations (I say this in the parent to the son who sold lemonaide over the weekend sort of way) and I hope your business plans hold.

I’m so impressed with you Casey. You managed to make a big turnaround. I wonder how DUI Cote is doing with all the moronic haters? It was funny when it was uncovered that the walrus was caught drinking and driving. Actually, its not that funny. That is dangerous and he could have hurt innocent people.

THE FUTURE IS SO BRIGHT FOR CASEY THAT HE BETTER START WEARING SHADES!

That means you’ve got $1200 which will cover _next_ week’s commitment as well. Sweet!

Amazingly, Casey did actually manage to monetize this blog.

Now you-know-who has to start paying back your creditors.

  • Good work Casey.
Finally it’s all working out for you.

Keep updating, and drive the traffic.
Like you said, this blog is your job, and it’s your job to make sure that the clients will stay… it’s not easy, but you’re good at blogging, so good luck.

  • here’s a suggestion casey

now that people can see the kind of value that links on your blog can bring, consider putting your 10 sweet links up for auction on ebay starting next month

that way you can get a better sense of what your 10 sweet links are truly worth

Way to finally monetize the blog Casey…..

The haterz haven’t been this upset since they cancelled Battlestar Gallactica and “the man” made Robert Cote install an ignition breathalyzer.

  • Thanks guys… I’m amazed myself. I would like to thank all the Sweet Link holders and my premium sponsor American Foreclosure Specialists.

As for real content and update on my loans, deals, etc… it’s all coming. Don’t worry… i’ll try not to disappoint with more details and blow-by-blow on how I am going to go from Foreclosure to Success by September 10th, 2007.

For now, I am happy to enjoy the accomplishments of the last couple of days. I still have a TON of email to go through. Sorry if you sent me an email. I’ll get to you eventually.

I have a couple of big deals cookin’ that I helped put together. Not sure if they are gonna close yet… too early to tell.

That private $20k+ private loan is actually two loans from two different private individuals. ONe is for 4K the other for 16K. Not exactly sure of all the reasoning that went into getting more money than I needed that day but that’s what I got to live with. There is a 10% fee upon repayment. Plus a couple of late payments. So I’m look at at over 22K at this point. Need to call and negotiate something one of these days.

As I start developing more of a stable income that I can count on, I will have some ammunition for when I go to my lenders. As you say in my CashCall example, it’s kind of hard to work out a payment plan if you don’t know exactly how much money you’re making.

The Utah property is still wrapped as far as I know. Though I haven’t checked mail in a while… hopefully there are no suprises.

I still need to get my 2006 taxes done since I got an extension.

    What else am I missing?

  • Your still a tool.

Now you can do the right thing and file for chapter 13.

A chapter 13 bankruptcy is also called a wage earner’s plan. It enables individuals with regular income to develop a plan to repay all or part of their debts.

    Have a nice life.

  • “Wow. I have to admit, i’m impressed. I was positive you would never be able to monetize your houses, your site, your […], or anything else. Good job! I’m a less-hater now.”

Don’t be impressed, be annoyed. He lied on mortgage applications to borrow $2 million and cost his lenders a ton of money - and now he’s trying to profit off it. It’s sickening.

  • Go Casey Go

You have earned a trip to Jamba Juice!

  • All this proves is how low people will sink to make a buck. What kind of company thinks giving Casey money for his crimes will help them sell their product/service to potential customers on this blog.

  • 1. Why doesn’t Jamba Juice have a sweet link or climb on board as a sponsor?

    2. This guy (Ham) pays big, big bucks for sweet domain names like yours. See the story below:

    http://money.cnn.com/magazines.....100050989/

He recently purchased the name Weddingcatering.com for $10,000, and Greeting.com for $350,000.

Seems to me that iamfacingforeclosure.com should be worth several $100,000s at least.

  • Casey -

I don’t want to read reviews of products or services….

    BORING

You’ve gotten in excess of $2,200 - now you need to “earn” it….

First order of business - what creditors are you going to pay first? Are you going to pay back your business credit account for the $$ you withdrew for rent? Or, are you going to pay cashcall? Or, will you be bringing “she who must not be named or referenced” credit card payments up to date?

Whatever you do, DO NOT WASTE THIS MONEY on wheat grass shots, starbucks, trips to Tahoe, or other unnecessary expenses. Repayment of your crditors is your first order of business.

  • To @ 20 Mexican Radio: Please tell me you are joking about Battlestar. Are you talking about the new series?

  • If I were cashcall I would be going straight to court and getting a judgement, and I/they would since you won’t file for bankruptcy. Then I would levy every account you had even if I/they had to buy a sweet link to find it, that’s just the cost of doing business for me/them… Better yet, maybe I’ll buy all your judgements since they’re all still valued at

  • Regarding SEO and the links: Just curious, whats the diference between the links on the right, and someoeposting a comment here with a link to their site? I mean, doesnt googlebot read it as a lik equally when it crawls the site?

  • Not bad! Is that money for one month of links or for one week?

  • 58. Benefits and Retirement
    May 23rd, 2007 at 6:42 am

While I am surprised people are actually giving you in excess of $1,000 a week, there is a glaring error in your $1,000/week commitment to your family.

This “cash on the kitchen table” strategy doesn’t account for all of the positives that having a job grants on top of the salary. You do not have the equivalent of a $52,000 a year job, Casey, because you do not have medical benefits, vision care, dental care, pre-tax medical reimbursement plans, 401k plans, and a host of other benefits and retirement options available to those with a real job. When it’s time for you to have kids, when it’s time those wheat grass shots stop working and someone gets sick, these expenses can easily be in the five-figure range and it will all come out of your pocket.

But $1,000 a month will make you happy now, you can roll around in your “stacks” of money on the kitchen floor, and thinking about the future has never really been your thing. So it’s all good. It’s a sweet win/win!

  • The whole thing is all about $ for Casey now. The last few entries have all been about advertisers and advertising. The fun is no longer here. Dude is forgetting the why people visited his blog in the first place. Good bye, suckers.

  • Sweet money.
Start with refunding your w***. Now. and everyweek. Once done, payback the rest of your debts. Once done, you can think about getting rich. Not before.

  • [IMG Murst!!!!] Yessss!!! For further details on Murst! click on All Things Casey Serin

    Shame on you!

  • Of course once cashcall sees that there’s money they’ll be siphoning it off and you won’t have the cash to put on the kitchen table.

    Dear Mr. Serin,

Your blog seems to be getting boring. If you fail to discuss your personal life and all you do is discuss your minor financial successes, I am afraid that this blog may crumble.

You do, however, deserve to have a nice meal out with your lovely w*** to celebrate your recent good fortunes. You might also consider a shot of wheat grass juice from Jamba Juice. Photos of these events would help keep interest peeked.

  • Casey,
Wow I’m ecstatic for you!! Now you just have to make sure it keeps coming. Don’t get caught up in all the awe and forget that it needs to be done weekly. That contract was perhaps one of the most important ones you have signed in months and I just hope for once you told the honest truth and will honor that agreement. I guess I will talk to you soon, got to get back to MY 9-5!!! Great job!

congrats casey on the inflow of capital. it’s good news. i hope you can continue this success.

but please don’t confuse your success with getting people/companies to sign up for links to your website with any thing else. you still had five houses foreclosed upon. you have no real estate knowledge to impart upon anyone. your website has nothing to do with helping or even trying to help people in a distressed situation with their mortgage. you’re in debt way past yours means and seemingly could care less.

i would love for you to show me where i’m wrong with what i’m saying. please feel free to show me actual examples of how you have helped someone.

  • You ….. made money? Seriously? As in, actual cash in your hand? Here’s a word of advice: give it to your w*** for safekeeping. All of it. Women like that sort of thing.

So your ‘foreclosure help’ blog has turned into a sales pitch blog? *Yawn* Needs more content.

  • Casey,

You should hold on to the excess of the $1K until next week, this way incase you are short, which there is a good chance you will be the blog will last another week.

Secondly. I think this domain name is worth quite a bit and if you sell sooner rather than later you could come out pretty well. Forget the promise that you won’t sell. You could walk away with over $100K easily.

This whole story has gone down the drain. It’s no longer about your story and now all about plugging advertisers and their services. Desire to read on is getting even lower, even for the comments. BORING!!!! And there have been no updates on your situation for how many posts now? Maybe someday you will take a look at that, but don’t let it interfere with the sleeping and Jamba. Don’t forget, you now have a commitment to the advertisers to bring the visitors in.

Casey has violated Yahoo Publisher Network’s TOS.

I love a good comeback story! Keep up the good work, Casey!

Seems the whole real estate fiasco was a detour to a dead end away from your real talent which seems to be blogging. Ironically, if you hadn’t tried and failed at real estate, you most likely wouldn’t be blogging, or at least not blogging about something that would capture such a huge audience.

Right now, we all want to see how you get yourself out of the huge hole you’ve dug for yourself. I’d try to get those Cashcall guys off your back first. Geeze, those dudes are worse than mafia loansharks. Imagine if you can manage to pay off all your creditors without filing for BK and then build your wealth on top of it. The only downside is that your FICO score is pretty much shot for the foreseeable future.

Up from the ashes of disaster grow the roses of success!

I suppose I should mention that I reported Casey for the TOS violation.

I’ll stop policing in this matter if Casey would take down the paid link for payday loan places, which are aof no help for folks facing foreclosure.

  • Have you done the work that you got $300 in advance for yet? Started it?

You do realized that if you are being paid to write a reivew most people (say, thought who didn’t get themselves into $2.2 mil debt yet still consider themselves suscessful business people) will consider them biased.

I don’t see what you are doing to help people avoid foreclosure. You might do better teaching people how not to get in over their head by being an ego that walks like a man.

  • Whats up? I don’t really visit this site (or any other) to learn about Search Engine Optimization or the paid review business (sic) or jobbing Google.

Whatever happened to Cash Call, dirty pennies, balloon payments, real estate. Where have all the flowers gone?

Casey - how bout this as a weekly posting topic:

A simple cash flow statement with images of the relevant bank, paypal, credit card records. Nothing that should take you very long to throw together, just something showing where the money comes from (Ads, consulting, etc.) and were it was spent for the week (Macaroni Grill, CC debt, tuition). Then, you can describe the logic behind your spending choices as the main body of the post.

Do this once a week and your blog would once again be what it was in the past - a place where your decisions and the reaction/advice of the commenters make for great entertainment.

Call it “Casey’s Cashflow,” or something, and do it on the same day every week.

Trust me - the crowd would love it. AND (since its all about the sponsors), you could even find a new sponsor for that series of posts and charge a ton, since that’s the post people would actually read every week…

“Casey’s Cashflow is brought to you, as always, by the fine folks at Phillip Morris. Smoke ‘em if you got em, Casey, and never forget - generics may be cheaper, but they kill you quicker….Thats just not very sweet.”

Its the next logical step in monetizing your blog, it gives the readers what they want, and its just common sense in the media biz. It gives you a way to test your branding and programming skills, and could even lead to its very own website. See how this works? First: “Casey’s Cashflow”, then something…..say, “Serin sez…”, where you get users to vote on a list of 10 questions about anything (sex, life, afterlife, fashion!, diet!, food), then you answer the most popular questions…

You need some ‘features’ to keep your crowd tuned in. Best site I have seen doing this is http://www.yesbutnobutyes.com/, with their LunchHourVeg and Top ten lists. Though they don;t have sponsors associated with features, I do not think.

I’m telling you, it would actually work. And haterz don’t come any larger than me…

Imagine….”Its Thursday…gotta check out Casey’s Cashflow post for the week!” Suddenly I am craving a smoke.

    Rock On, Sacto!

What are you going to do next week for the money?

The only reason I could think of someone cancelling their account with you would be if they were in the first class to advertise, at the $100.00 a month for the textlink slot, and then wanted the boldface and placement bonus, which wasn’t offered, (was it?), when they first took the risk.

In any event, the support you are getting from your advertizers should indicate to you what an INCREDIBLY FANTASTIC BARGAIN you are providing them with.

  • congratulations. now comes the true test of character and convictions: will you use the money you make to pay your creditors or will you waste it on more frivolous food and travel?

personally, i don’t have any faith in you based on your actions in the past so i’m sad to say i hope cash call and the banks are reading this and do everything they can to attach any income you have.

  • how much of that money are you putting aside for taxes, hmm?

  • Hi folks,
the “haterz” are always doing this to Casey, so I thought I would turn this around a little bit, and give you some insight into how I perceive the “haterz”. What follows is an email I got today:

    Hi Nathan,
    Thank you for your email.
I’m sure you get a lot of satisfaction out of thinking of ways to keep a 24 year old kid from digging a way out of his hole. It has not escaped my attention that even when Casey does something legitimate, such as AdSense, you and your ilk are ready and waiting to engage in wholesale click fraud to make sure that Casey does not get ahead even one little step. Clearly you won’t be satisfied until you have made sure he is as miserable as you apparently are. I’m not sure why casey’s gain is your loss, and I really don’t see why Casey’s loss is your gain, but that is the position you are staking out as some sort of self appointed judge, so here we are.

I can’t imagine what it would be like to self identify as a “hater”. You sound like somebody who was a bully in elementary school, or maybe you were bullied and this is your way of exerting some power. All I can say is that you strike me as a very sad and small little man. I feel sorry for you.

Rather then trying to bring the young man down, I think you could learn some things from Casey, as I think, despite all his faults, naivete, mistakes, and outright deceptions, he exhibits considerably more character then what I am seeing from you right now.

I don’t mind helping Casey do something constructive that brings value into the world. I guess you do. What a pity.

BTW I am aware of Google’s policy, as well as Matt’s blog. Eventually Casey’s paid links will be devalued as an SEO tool, but the traffic remains: 6k+ clicks a month is a pretty amazing return for $3. And as more mainstream press comes his way (because unlike you, Casey is actually interesting) there will be surges where traffic is even higher. It might not always make sense for us, but there’s no doubt in my mind it will make a lot of sense for many other people. So, despite your best efforts, I think Casey is going to finally enjoy some success. It’s too bad you can’t be happy for him.

    Sincerely,

    Sharky Laguana

    Hi,

I noticed you bought a “sweet” link from IAFF, for the explicit purpose of boosting your site’s Google rankings. From your “testimonial” on his site:

“But what I do think I will get is far more valuable: search engine optimization. Moving up even a couple spots in Google rankings is potentially worth far more to me then what I am paying for the link. So, seen strictly through the prism of a business decision, the “sweet link” strikes me as a no brainer, as I cannot think of another blog with wider exposure, where I can purchase such a prominent link for so little money….But to answer your basic premise: do I care if you boycott my services? Well ideally you wouldn’t, but earning your business wasn’t the point of advertising here anyways. What I’m really interested in is SEO…”

Google does not look kindly on paid links, and I (and many of Casey’s “haterz”) have reported both yours and Casey’s sites to Google, as per their instructions in the above link. While I do not believe Google will punish your site (they state as much on that page), the link on Casey’s site will be worthless, so I hope you enjoy wasting $100/month on this trash.

    Regards,

  • Ok Casey,

    1) Don’t do anyting stupid with the money, get up to date on some pressing things, CashCall for example?

    2) Prepay some rent

    3) Buy your w*** some flowers and

    4) Make an estimated tax payment on this NOW!

And somehow you need to make this a sustainable flow of income, I guess this can be achieved by renewing some of these ads next month.

Also, you are really only half way there, for the month, you need about another $2000 a month to fulfil your promise.

And I say again, don’t do anything stupid with this money, I truly believe your marriage is at stake here.

  • Hey, you’ve posted how much you get from selling links, but what about from your Yahoo ads? Care to post what you make off those things?

  • Yay for you Casey!

Now you actually have some wages coming in that the IRS and other creditors can garnish. Congrats on creating a steady source of income that CashCall and others can take a cut out of. Before you were judgement-proof because you weren’t worth anything. Now you have cash value.

  • congratulations, you are infinitely more qualified as an internet blogger mogul than a real estate investor.

The irony is that you had to fail at one to realize the other.

If I am remembering it correctly, these ’sweet links’ buys one month, so what are you going to sell next week?

  • When are you going to declare bankruptcy? That should provide months of entertaining blog fodder.

    Sharky,
The haterz remind me of Dwight Shrute from “The Office”

They like to think of themselves as volunteer Sheriffs Deputies letting Yahoo and Google know about silly little things that Casey is doing. They b**** and moan that Casey isn’t paying back his creditors, but then try to stop the ways in which Casey IS making some money that would pay people back. I cannot imagine how sad of a life one must have to stoop to monitoring Caseys activities and reporting them to yahoo, google or even writing to his sponsors.

To bad they were not around when Robert Cote got into his vehicle impared enough to be arrested for a DUI. Now that would have been a benefit to society. Everyone can rest easy tonight knowing the the Shrute squad is making yahoo and google ads, safe for the rest of us.

Kudos to Sharky at #95! I’ve certainly been frustrated with Casey’s lack of responsibility, but have to feel encouraged by his actual attempts to make money and give consideration to his w***’s feelings, not just his. Some of these people must lead miserable lives, because they’re actively working to make Casey fail. His success (which would be nice to see, though I’m not ready to invest my money with him for 24% returns just yet) wouldn’t invalidate their lives, but they act like it would. Their own insecurity is what invalidates their lives. Then again, maybe blogs about why it’s great to be a renter and eat for $1.43 a day would also make for great reading and wind up in USA Today, MSNBC and CNN.

good job man u need to contact jamba juice, starbucks, aldo shoes, various internet newspapers, new york times, bbc, microsoft, apple, car companies, movie companies, to advertise bigger sweet links with higher pricing because of traffic. take out the huge msn page, your photo ops, sign yearly agreements with them and penalty for contract recission than pay your server more loot. media content is marketing and any savvy real estate tycoon uses this on their buildings its a form of residual capital that can be transferred to your commercial buildings i.e. virtual billboards etc. its good to create connections that last lifetimes as those aforementioned company’s need to market their goods. start the pricing at 750.00 monthly and have them pay 12 months upfront or collect 4 months deposit. place all this residual capital in your newly formed llc trust account than.. man contact me directly at my email i will tell u directly what to do next for u its free since u are trying to make money and that is a good quality trait.

First of all, I want to apologize for being such a “hater” the last time I posted. It was wrong and I apologize.

Second, I wanted to point out to you something in which you will DEFINITELY be interested. There is a site called http://www.plentyoffish.com that is a dating site, and the guy who runs the site is MARKUS FRIND. He makes $5 million to $10 million a year from BANNER ADS, CLICK LINKS and other web marketing techniques. The guy lives in Vancouver and runs the whole thing out of his apartment. HE HAS NO EMPLOYEES helping him….placing dating profiles on the site is completely FREE so he is only making money from the ads and links. He uses a WEB HOSTING company a few miles away for their servers. You might want to get in touch with this guy…..maybe he’ll be open to doing a PODCAST with you. You could probably learn some things from him. There is also an article of him on the Wall Street Journal Online if you know someone who has a subscription to it.

OK, so you sold some “Sweet links” and scored a 131 on your IQ test with a calculator and paper. Since you are such a damn genius, why couldn’t you do the same thing before you bought 8 houses and spent all that money on bogus RE courses?

    You ain’t that smart, Casey.

Now, instead of posts about your RE adventures, you have turned this into an advertising portal. Watch your return readership drop like a rock.

  • Damn K-C!!!!!!!!! I Hope you are working out a way to REALLY cash in on all this…quick and fast. (I’n NOT talking chicken change either). You’ve been getting a lot of great advice here…even with the hatin’.

I’m one of your fans but I’m not sure if you’ve got the skillz to process it all. That’s cool tho…just get some one in real life to work through it all with you. YOU NEED STAFF!!!!!!!!!!! You get much love on here…I’m sure people in your life will pitch in to help organize stuff and really make use of the good info…RE related or otherwise. Try different avenues to get your head above water…then you can dabble in RE again…the legit way…and be successful at it.

Your goal was to help ppl so they don’t get where you are…that’s working…NO ONE WILL FOLLOW IN UR FOOT STEPS I DON’T THINK!!!!!!!! Hehehehehehehehehe… . Also people facing different types of financial woes have probably picked up lots of good stuff on here. You have even been entertaining for months to my crowd…hehehehehehehehe But hey…lets be for real…You tried life by your rulz and effffed up…Maybe RE is not the way to go…but it could “indirectly” turn profitable. Fame is cool…but this kind of fame without a dime to show for it sucks. Lets face it…you’re no Ghandi so don’t even try it that way. Even if you get back to point A…pre the RE mess…break even…I’m sure that would be cool with the only person that really matters here…”THE MRS”. Like I said…clean up quick and fast…pay off stuff…treat ur w*** (who has been awesome) like u promised you would and don’t end up in deep s*** again…or else you would just be plain dumb and that you aint…right???

I like that, the EN haterz are the Schrute Squad. You should really lay off the sauce drunk dawg, you left the c out of schrute. or was that a Caseyism?

    EN Haterz=Schrute Squad

Can they have their own special corner on your blog Casey where they can keep us up to date on their crime stopping activities with ads and links?

  • Casey:

    This is BORING.

Nothing of value in your post today. Nothing of value yesterday either.

If you don’t get back in the saddle and updating the blog and your readers in a meaningful way regarding the following items I can see the $$ drying up by next week. Why, because the value of the blog (your story, the Haterz comments, etc.) is worthless without the story.

Here are subjects you need to write about in the next few days:

    1. Utah - what is the status - was the payment found? Are the “wrapped” buyers still making payments, or have they stopped? If they stopped, can you “foreclose” on them? Didn’t they spend about $70K updating the property? If so, “sweet.” They had it on the market for $699K… paid $360K…. if you were to take the property back and work fast for a quick sale (no short sale) at an “undercut” price of say $450K you might actually make some money after you repay the lenders all outstanding fees and charges.

    2. Your $22K lenders who were owed yesterday - did you call them re: not meeting the payment deadline? How much have you collected towards paying off this debt? How soon can they expect payment “in full”??? How did they take the news of you not paying them as promised?

    3. Your “friend” who loaned you $3,000 last fall, for which you’ve only repaid $1,100? If I recall correctly, this is an elderly man - what is your repayment plan?

    4. “She-who-must-not-be-named-or-referenced” credit standing?

    5. Repayment priorities of the following debts:
    a. Cashcall?
    b. Credit Cards of “She-who-must-not-be-named-or-referenced”?
    c. Your credit cards
    d. Your corporate credit account (which you used to pay the rent)
    e. Your family (i.e., the parents of “She-who-must-not-be-named-or-referenced”)
    f. Your friends

    6. Have you contacted your “friend” in Texas regarding the $6K he owes you? You need to get repaid from the loan and put the money aside for those weeks when you don’t have the actual $1K to put on the table.

    7. Projections of expenses from not having a W-2 job (i.e., comparison of what you will be paying in taxes, SS, paid time off, and benefits such as medical insurance, etc.) and how much more you will actually need to bring home each week inexcess of $1K to have the value of your non-W-2 earnings.

    8. Are you running the earnings from the blog through your corporation and if so, why did you decide that, what is the benefit or drawback of doing so?

Once again, the blog is getting BORING and you’ll lose traffic faster than a blink of the eye unless you live up to your reputation of being “the world’s most hated blogger.”

  • Casey,
Best of luck in your life, everything will turn out ok for you im sure. All you need to do is appreciate your w*** and show her you care! I don’t even know why you guys waste your breath. Apparently Twinkie Boy does not read comments, or he does not even have the common courtesy to reply to one or two of them. How are we supposed to believe that he is making all this income now, sionce he lied through his teeth to get himself in his supposed ‘mess’ he is in now?

You people who are cheering him on are probably minimum wage minions, delighted that someone is getting the upper hand, and seemingly getting away with it. Karma always catches up with you, it could be instant, it could take years, it could take another shape or form, but it always comes back to you.

As for you, Dorothy, and your little dog, you’re full of BS saying that your IQ is 131, because if it was, you wouldn’t be in this mess. the law will eventually catch up with you, as it does ‘W-2 slaves’, as you call them.

    Capitalism sucks green donkey turds.

“6. Have you contacted your “friend” in Texas regarding the $6K he owes you? You need to get repaid from the loan and put the money aside for those weeks when you don’t have the actual $1K to put on the table.”

His “friend” is in “lender-ignore mode” (AKA Casey’s Way of Life).

Funny how Casey never thought twice about lending $8K to a complete stranger without any kind of guarantees. It makes you think he never knew how had people work for a dollar. Well, since he never did any real work for his money, I guess it didn’t matter much to him.

Now that $8K means 2 months of blogging, I bet he thinks otherwise.

    Casey,
You need to post more about your personal situation and less about the advertising aspect. People will get bored of the site if you don’t continue your success story and personal details of the trials and tribulations of Casey Serin.

  • Your Jamba Worshipfulness:

In light of the spirited defense of your efforts by one your new-found advertizerz, are you now willing to amend and revise your dream of living in your car to one of living in a Bandago Rental Van?

Those Sprinters sure look cozy! The Cummins turbo-diesel is a good, reliable engine, and it’s even got wireless internet…
both would come in handy for your next blog:

    “IAmOnTheLamFromCashCall.com”

If I had to live in a vehicle, I think a Sprinter would be the way to go.

(It even has a garage for your Blue Ball!)

  • Casey has a sense of euphoria for sure, with so many setbacks that he had as of late.

So ($1000/month minus approx $32 paypal fees) multiplied by 12 months divided by 52 weeks gives Casey $223.38 a week steady income–assuming that the customers still see value in paying advertisement fees on this blog.

I wonder what happens to the advertisers if Casey is forced to shut down in a couple of weeks time if he hasn’t been able to secure other sources of revenue? Do they get a refund for the # of weeks that they lose? Anyway, that’s just a technicality.

$1000 per week, $52k per year. Maybe after 10 years your $160k debt will be paid off, but I doubt it.

W-2 Girl is right. Get to work on your blogging job if you want to succeed.

Casey, this blog has no future as a link farm. Search engines will penalise your sweet links because they are paid-for links. Yahoo will withhold payment if you have violated their advertising terms. People won’t read it if all you do is talk about your links.

Heh, I did the IQ test just then. I scored 133; 4 mistakes total (one in each category). It took me only 21 minutes and I didn’t have to use a calculator or paper. I may be only just ahead of Casey in IQ, but I’m three times faster than he is. Oh, and I didn’t defraud anybody or get $2.2m in debt either. I guess I better get back to my loser W-2 job now.

  • Thank you guys for your comments! I do read them and will try to respond here or in future posts

Or you can always call in during the next Foreclosure Friday Live Call and ask away. I’ll take (almost) any question.

    @119: Hey James…

That was not a stranger that I loaned $8K to. That was my contractor on the Dallas property. I become friends with him and felt I can trust him. He was in a bind and needed some money.

    Looking back…

should have given him a REAL loan with a promissory note, reasonable interest, payments, etc. This way I would be on his mind every month and I would have a reason to call him and bug him. Just like my lenders have been buggin’ me now.

He already paid me back $2K of it… I think. He promises to pay me back the rest “as soon as the houses closes”. He has an investment property he has been trying to sell for like a year. Sounds familiar.

    @114. W-2 Girl…

thanks for the reminder on the “loose ends”. I will be blogging about my debt next and try to hit other topics soon too.

What can I say? I’ve just been too busy makin’ money for once from this blog! Thanks to all the sponsors.

  • As you can see I’ve added yet another way for people to show their support and get credited for it.

    I call them “Supporterz”.

    Don’t laugh.

Basically… with a payment of $50 or more your name or link will show up in the Last 5 Supporterz in the sidebar, and permanently on the Supporterz page. So this is NOT a donation. It’s a payment for advertising… in a way… and also to show your support.

Don’t worry… if you’re currently identify yourself as part of the “Haterz”, it doesn’t mean you’re switching sides by making a payment.

Just means that you understand the value of self-promotion and can’t resist to jump on a sweet win-win deal. (Am I right??)

I won’t hold it against you.

Keep me blogging and help turn this into the #1 Foreclosure Help Blog on the internet!!

    (Gotta dream big!)

  • Your trolling dude.

Do you have to pay sales tax to the California State Board of Equalization for sweet links and other ad products? I would find out if you need a seller’s permit too, cause they can shut you down, man.

  • What a scam this Casey thing is. And you guys are buying it. One born every minute.

  • Can us other folks have a “Haterz™” page?

I would pay you maybe 5 bucks American for that.

How is this site helping anyone who is facing foreclosure? All it shows people is that you really screwed up and are now begging for money. Not paying your bills is not a way out of foreclosure. Is cashcall going to take that 2 grand you just blabbed about?

Yeah right Casey, Dream Big - Do nothing

All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible.

    Heh,

I asked my 10 year old daughter to do the IQ test. She scored 129 … 2 below Casey, and she took only 50 minutes to do it and didn’t use calculator or paper.

My 10 year old daughter was faster than Casey …

  • How about installing threaded comments plugin? It would make it much easier to respond to other people’s comments.

  • The sweet links ads have the following agreement:

    * Positioned at the top of the sidebar for great visibility.

“Third from the top” is not “top”, and if you put 4 more Premium spots above them, they are going to be so far down no one will ever see them.

  • Casey. . . is that all you got???? This is getting boring!
Where the hell are those damn Canadians????
The Ducks are comming for the CUP!

  • Your first supporterz link is broken. You need to put http:// in front of the URL, because right now my browser thinks it’s a relative URL.

    good job.

    ASW: cashcall

  • Inspiring stuff, Casey! I thought there had to be some cash in all of this for you. I wonder if you’ve underpriced the 10 spots as they filled up quite fast and the initial reaction from the sweet list is favorable for the traffic.

Keep going. The draw of the site seems to be your story and not foreclosure at all….

As others have suggested, you seem to have some skills in the blogging realm and should monetize this as much as possible…

There is no foreclosure help here. Just a sad kid begging for money so he doesn’t have to get up and go to work every day.

I’m curious why it’s ok to give up your dignity by begging for money from people who are going to work and are paying their mortgages every month, as well as their taxes, etc.

I am well aware you won’t answer this question. It has been asked of you a hundred times since you’ve started this pathetic song and dance about a ‘come-back’. Where are you coming back from?

  • Good luck with everything. I am wanna be real estate mogul too. So keep going and show us some good deals!

    Casey,

I was just sitting around my cell the other day thinking:

What happened to the Utah payment?

    Scott

  • You think you’ve had a $2,000 replayment on a loan. Do you know how to keep records?

  • why not make a “wall of haterz?” for a donation of > $100.00, the purchaser gets 100 words of hate and a name/link.

  • Oh yeah. What should a site about avoiding foreclosure have on it? Aside from links of dubious value, I mean.

A way to help people understand if foreclosure is the right or wrong option for them?

    A glossary of terms?
A worksheet to help people explore different options?
Real (not paid) reivews of services?
A list of things not to do (re: foeclosure, that it, not re: flipping houses)?
A list of things do to?
A list of documents you’ll need for various things, such as meeting with the bank?

Heres a link that might give you a clue: http://casaubonsbook.blogspot......house.html

I’m not sure you’ll like it. It has nothing to do with things being sweet or shiney.

Or is your idea of number one site not the one that is most helpful to people, but the one that gets the most hits?

  • Please dont do any “Big Deals”. You are doing just fine with the blog only!

Yes Casey, I gave the college I graduated from (I know, W-2 looooser and all) a check this year for $5,000. I got my name in a magazine with a list of thousands of other DONORS…they don’t call them “self-advertisers”. I DONATED to my college, that’s what it is called when you support someone to see your name in a list. Donations. Not advertising.

But hey, call it whatever you want, unless your family and friends have such a sweet IQ as you, they’ll never figure it out and you can scam your way into another couple donations and break your signed agreement.

    Sweet! Win-win!

“Basically… with a payment of $50 or more your name or link will show up in the Last 5 Supporterz in the sidebar, and permanently on the Supporterz page. So this is NOT a donation.”

    Casey,

At one point, you’ll realize you can’t keep finding loopholes in your contracts with “she / he who shall never be named again, ever”. She’s your w***, DAMMIT, not a business partner!

It’s pretty obvious placing my name on your blog will not give me any sort of financial benefit, so it’d be a DONATION, not a payment. Playing with words seems to be one of your strengths, but for the love of all that’s holy (including matrimony), STOP finding loopholes and trying to cheat on “she / he who shall never be named again, ever”.

You are off to a good start. Adding “Donations” is just a way for you to make the minimum effort possible to pay for next week’s blog’s fee. Dude, try and think at least 3 or 4 months ahead. Supporterz and adz will not solve your money problems. I’m pretty sure you won’t find the $220K you owe there. Or, do you not care anymore about the people you lied to?

  • At first I had sympathy.. Now I think you are criminal.
