Get rid of the video. Your writing is enough.

The video may help people guess whether you are for real or an actor in an elaborate Trump Kiyosaki viral marketing scheme.

Casey,

If you do decide that you need to file bankruptcy, please go to the library and check out “All Your Worth” by Elizabeth Warren, and read the chapter on bankruptcy.

Warren talks about common mistakes that people make in bankruptcy, simply because they do not know their rights. Creditors may use deception or intimidation to get you to agree to re-assume responsibility for loans even after they are wiped out by the court. Basically, sign nothing and agree to nothing after your court appearance.

She also writes about picking yourself back up after a bankruptcy filing. The good news is that, if you really need credit, it will be available. Credit card companies will extend you even more offers, because they know you can’t file again for another 7 years after your first bankruptcy. The bad news is that the terms won’t be as good, and you’ll have to stay on your guard about late fees, etc. Use the credit very wisely - don’t charge anything you don’t need, and keep on top of your payments.

I know that bankruptcy sucks. It’s humiliating. It helps to think of it as a tool to pull this crushing debt off your back.

After I filed, I was so depressed that I had a hard time getting out of bed (they can’t repo and resell mattresses, did you know that? But they can take your bed itself). But I wasn’t living with the stress of my tremendous debt load any more - and that was a feeling of unbelievable freedom.

If you think you’re going to go that route, please learn about your options before you file. Elizabeth Warren’s book explains a lot of the arcana around bankruptcy; it’ll really help.

Been there, done that.

Pay no attention to TWIT above, if you feel you still must run this blog and doing these videos is more efficient, then go for it (just don’t over do it, ok!? … sees two other video entries already…). You may even get less useless spelling and grammar comments!

Did you look into using revver.com or some other video service besides YouTube that might increase your ad revenue?

Good to hear there’s some progress on the properties.

Okay first of all how dare you post a video looking like that! If you really want to be a rich real estate agent, why don’t you comb your f!#@ing hair and shave or wash that dirt off your face. I mean my God man, what the hell, you expect people to do business with someone who looks like kurt combaine at his grungiest moment, after he just rolled out of bed in the morning. If I was going to trust my HARD EARNED! MONEY with someone in the real estate market and I walked into a room and saw some emo-freak like you, I would die of laughter based on your ultra derelect, hoboish spectacular, herion sheek apperance. Your hair is messier than your life. Please for the love of god comb that rat’s nest you call hair and take a razor to your chin the moment you wake up in the morning. Thank you very much!

#Been there, done that.

Filing for bankruptcy will not help Casey pull the crushing debt off his back as you put it. He lied on his loan applications and he oves money to the IRS. He will emerge from bancruptcy with just as much debt as entering into it.

His best option right now is to join the army and get sent to Iraq.

“I haven’t had the time or money to maintain that house … but the good thing is that some meighbors have been taking care of the lawn…”

So, in other words, you’re shitting on their neighborhood by owning a property you can’t or won’t maintain. So rather than have to look at your weed-infested lot, they cut the grass for you. Just one more case where responsible adults are stepping up, at their own expense, to clean up your mess.

You find a house a couple of hours away difficult to maintain, so what do you do? You buy a house in Dallas……..and New Mexico….and……and you are just unbelievable.
